Via delle Palme: A cuisine of memories that returns home

Palm Street It's not a restaurant. It's not a publishing project. It's not experiential tourism. Via delle Palme is all this and more: it's a contemporary concept of active memory, starting from grandmothers' cooking to tell the story of a region's identity.

Signed by Buccio Cappello And Giuliana Puccio, a chef and sommelier respectively, a couple in life and work, the project began in Sicily in the family home, on the street—Via delle Palme, to be precise—where Buccio grew up and where he returned with Giuliana after years and experiences abroad. And it was from this return that the idea for a traveling cuisine was born, one that seeks to reclaim its roots to create a new form of culture.

The story of Buccio and Giuliana is among those collected by Suruq Magazine and which today is also a documentary series signed by Appress Agency And RockIsland StudioSuruq is the editorial project that for the second consecutive year focuses on eastern Sicily and the Aeolian Islands, mapping the island's highlights.
